It’s July! July is a special time for us as it’s when we can tick off another year of operating the Hemp Store Australia!

2023 marks 10 years of ownership and management of Hemp Store Woy Woy.

We couldn’t be more excited about it, and we want to thank you all, and let you know why this occasion is so special to us.

First of all we want to acknowledge the previous owners of the Hemp Store for this amazing opportunity to continue promoting the amazing products and benefits of Hemp!

We may not look like a small business, but we are in fact tiny! Throughout the years our staffing has fluctuated, but we have always been a small team of parents and active community members working at Hemp Store. We’ve gone through ups and downs the last decade, and have stuck together to keep our doors open and continue to promote the amazing benefits of hemp. We couldn’t have done it without our customers. You are as much a part of the Hemp Store as we are, and so you are part of our community. We love having you here with us!

We want to give a special thanks to our team throughout the last decade – every helping hand in the Hemp Store Woy Woy and Bellingen. You all ROCK. It’s such a pleasure to work with a team of people who are passionate about community, sustainability, wellbeing, and Hemp. We value all of you and the contributions you’ve made and still make to the Hemp Store.

Lastly, we want to acknowledge Alex. Alex is our friend, partner, father, uncle, and employer. The owner/operator of Hemp Store, Al has always prioritised community over business, sustainability over profit, opportunity over advancement. Since undertaking the shop, Alex has used the Hemp Store as an opportunity for us employees to grow in our skills and capacity for the future. Throughout our employment he’s honoured our needs as parents and as human beings, and supported us to make work a part of our life balance, instead of the grind of work/life balance.

We want to thank Alex for his commitment to this bright vision: Hemp for the Future, and for being so steadfast through thick and thin to keep the store alive.
