About Hemp
Cultivated since the dawn of agriculture, Hemp seeds are still one of the world’s most outstanding superfoods. The kernels are over 1/3 pure protein, and with eight essential amino acids Hemp Seeds are a remarkably complete protein.
Furthermore, hemp naturally contains a 3:1 ratio omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, which is considered the best ratio human nutrition.

We are aware that tetra pak isn’t ideal for the environment, and Australia currently has no way of recycling this packaging. When it comes to sustainability, few things beat homemade, and Hemp Milk is one of the easiest alt milks to make. If you want to avoid tetra pak milks, try this out
Homemade Hemp Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup hulled hemp seeds (also known as hemp hearts)
- 4 cups filtered water
- 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for flavor)
- A pinch of salt (to enhance flavor)
Equipment:
- Blender
- Nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer
- Large bowl
- Bottle or jar for storage
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until mixture appears creamy, about 1 minute
- Taste and adjust with sweetener or salt
- Strain through a nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl, gently squeezing/pressing excess liquid
- Transfer your homemade hemp milk into a clean bottle or jar and store in the fridge for up to 5 days
- Shake well before use, as natural separation might occur

Hi, i didn t drink the hemp milk yet, but must tell you that tetra packs go into landfill in Australia as we don t have a recycling system for them. Cheers Tanja
